He: Y'know, Mabel, we've been married almost fifty years. We're both a little older and a little grayer. But we've had a great marriage. And the secret is: communication. We've always had great communication, but lately I've been thinking. I know I don't say it enough, but, honey, I love you.

She: What'd you say?

He: I love you.

She: Above me? (she looks at the ceiling) What is it, a spider?

He: What?

She: I said 'a spider.'

He: You want some cider?
