Patrick Tuorto says, "I did this as an exercise while working at Disney Studios. I love both the movie "The Great Mouse Detective" and the old radio dramas of Sherlock Holmes. I wanted to do a bit of animation with the character of Basil using Basil Rathbon's voice work from the radio drama."
